Imminent change to Victorian Club Permit Scheme

Please be advised that if you live in Victoria and have a motorcycle manufactured in 1996 that you were planning on putting on to a Club Permit this year, it would be wise to do so ASAP.

We’ve heard from Guy Allen at AllMoto that VicRoads plans to soon change the eligible age of motorcycles from 25 to 30 years, in line with the rest of the country. There may not be a lot of notice of the implementation of this.

The change-over to a Club Permit involves joining the SR500 Club, getting a Roadworthy Certificate, and having the Club sign-off on it.
